The team La Dolfina – Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 lead by the successful Argentinian Polo player Adolfo Cambiaso has won the 3rd Beach Polo Cup Ibiza the second time around. This team has leading players like Adolfo Cambiaso , Paolo Veronessi and Cedric Schweric and won the final game with 4:2 against the team of Ciroc Vodka, lead by Andrea Vianini .
In the female competition however, the team of Air Europa which has Katie Jenkinson, Vicky Fenestraz and Hazel Jackson as players, gained recognition with the Airports 2000 award.
As usual, the event is highly attended amongst celebrities and this year was no exception. Besides the top model Jodie Kidd who played for the team Evian and american polo star Nic Roldan who played for Atzaro Hotel team
renowned PR / concierge for celebrities and VIPs Roman Fortunato puted together the A List and celebrities of the day in the island as the singer James Blunt who gave the Air Europa Cup to the winners, the former star of the Miami Heats and DJ Rony Seikaly, Gigi Sarasola,  Duchess  Silvia Serra di Casano ,  car racer  Mathias Lauda ,  the distinguished public relations Carlos Martotorell , Dani Curreu and spanish model Cristina Tossio just to mention a few.
With this third edition, the organizers have intended to return the interest in Polo sport to the island. As Ibiza Polo Club is officially recognized as The First Polo Club of Balearic Islands, there are numerous events to come in their future calendar. To start, the next competition Sunset Beach Polo is to take place in San Antonio this October.
